My Review Of CurationSoft

CurationSoftI rarely review products on this blog but this is one of those products that I use almost daily for creating simple, highly valued, posts on the various blogs that I write for.  CurationSoft is designed to help you pull data from the web that you can cite and create blog posts that are very informative for your readers and sought after by the search engines.

What Is Content Curation?

Before I get into all that, you need to know the importance of content curation.  To give you a quick and dirty definition:

Curation is essentially the organizing and sharing (some might even say “repackaging”) of content in ways that are meaningful to a specific target audience (via Enveritas Group).

In this day of ever increasing “noise” from social media, news portals, blogs, video, etc. it’s getting harder for people to find the information that they need.  Whenever you have this overload, people tend to look for individuals or companies that do that searching for them.  Think of popular websites such as the Huffington Post, Engaget, Perez Hilton, the Drudge Report and more, who have risen to fame for organizing the information on the web in a way that their audiences like.

Now those are monstrous sites (now) but they all started small; all by filtering information to their readers.  Since then, they have ballooned in popularity and stature and have shown a model that the average person can follow.  How would you like to be the “Perez Hilton” of your market place?

CurationSoft Review
